MLAs in the Northwest Territories voted 10-7 in favour of keeping a 19-seat legislature on Tuesday. While the number of electoral districts will remain the same, the boundaries of some districts will change, due to shifts in population in the territory.
The legislature had been debating three options for a new map of electoral boundaries: one with 18 districts, one with 19 districts and one with 21 districts.
The CBC has a story on the vote here.
The maps were prepared by the Northwest Territories Electoral Boundaries Commission, which issued its final report in May.
The maps, including the new electoral boundaries which will be used in the 2015 territorial election, are available here.
